My husband and I recently returned from a first-time 4-night stay at The Hacienda and we have nothing but positive things to say about the entire experience. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite, and to say that we were impressed with the room is an understatement. We have been staying at another gay resort in North PS for many years, going about 4 times per year, and decided we needed a change of venue. A quick Google Search brought up The Hacienda. We booked the room for our next 2 trips, in March and May, because we noticed that since there aren't a lot of rooms, it can be difficult to find availability. Besides the impeccably clean and spacious room, the service from the staff was extraordinary. We didn't actually ask for anything special, since we have a car and already had our dining and entertainment plans, but it was apparent that nothing was too much trouble. This is our 7th time staying at the Hacienda. It is by far the very nicest place to stay in Palm Springs. The cleanliness is beyond perfect and the atmosphere is so professional and relaxing. My husband and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. We love the staff. From the public areas to the room, the property is spotless: no details are overlooked and it’s evident that maintenance is constant. Room itself (for this review, Patio 5) was ample, well-furnished, and comfortable. AC was powerful but whisper-quiet, and had one of the most restful beds - better than Four Seasons or Ritz Carltons. Try the pillow-menu options for something different. The welcome basket was a pleasant surprise, and an immensely well-stocked closet with any appliance you could imagine needing (a popcorn maker!) is outfitted with a basically full outfit of kitchenware. Staff here know what they’re doing! They are masters of customer service, so have a finely-tuned sense of how to pamper guests and anticipate needs: chilled towelettes, ice water and some more sunblock when by the pool? Check. A pack of snacks, water, and face wipes for a hike? Check. Suggestions about what to see/do in town that evening, coming from the locals? Check. They are genuine in their intent to assist and extremely accessible, yet also easygoing and unobtrusive when you need serenity and you-time. The Hacienda is actually one of the few places in this world where I can absolutely relax. And this was proven out in spades this past week when my husband and I decided to proceed with our Palm Springs holiday in spite of the looming COVID-19 pandemic. I have visited The Hacienda on numerous occasions over the past several years and keep returning, like many other guests do. There are few places that I think about being at times when at home -- but this is one of them. It's usually thoughts of that spectacular view of the mountains from the front pool, or of me floating on a raft in the back pool. Maurice, Jim and team have every detail covered. I love the generous breakfasts and lunches by the pool. A glass of wine now and then just tops it off. And then the Grand Deluxe Suite makes you feel right at home with every amenity for comfort. We arrived stressed out and left relaxed and ready to face a self-imposed quarantine here in NYC. At least we had some nice experiences and thoughts to bring back to think about! We just finished another amazing stay at the hacienda. Despite the corona anxiety our stay was filled with warm relaxation, great camaraderie and complete escape from the world outside. We had 4 wonderful days and nights at The Hacienda, Warm Sands, Palm Springs. From our lovely room/studio, where everything was tasteful, comfortable and spotlessly clean! Lovely personal touches, welcome notes, chocolates, heart shaped cookie for Valentines Day and good quality fabrics/linen and toiletries. The staff were professional and friendly, always, we mainly interacted with Warren and Luis, they were lovely. Maurice and Jim the owners organised a welcome cheese and wine hour or so. They were very pleasant, naturally friendly and very informative. Our 1st visit to The Hacienda certainly won’t be our last, we’re already talking about our next visit. I've stayed at the Hacienda for many years, most recently in early 2020, and it never loses any of it's charm and magic. It's a cut above, not just for Warm Sands, but Palm Springs in general. The decor could be confused with any Ritz Hotel, both modern and classic. We stayed in a suite with a full kitchen, separate bedroom, and back patio. It's super quiet, with a small number of rooms grouped around two pools. The staff has, without exception, always been kind, open, prepared and just warm. We even had embroidered pillows with our names. This property competes not with the Ace hotels, but with the Parker's -- refined, upscale, quiet and effortlessly charming. If you are looking for a relaxing, tranquil vacation it doesn’t get any better than this! From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. The staff here is incredible. We even were able to stay an extra day and it was hard to leave. Our room! The service and the beautiful pool to swim and relax in, a great breakfast buffet and a menu to choose from for lunch served in your room or by the pool. I can’t wait to return. We recently spent five nights at the Hacienda at Warm Sands. Unfortunately for us this was way not enough time. If we had any idea how great this place was we would have doubled our time. The level of service and the attention to detail exceeded our expectations. When you walk through the gate you are in a relaxing and beautiful space. The room was immaculate, bed was comfortable and housekeeping was done daily. Two pools for ten rooms assures that a perfect lounge chair is always available. Not only was a delicious breakfast included, but also lunch. You are given an order form the night before with many selections of sandwiches, salads and wraps to choose from. Michael was great and anticipated our every need in advance. The only challenge now is to determine a time to go back.
