We stayed here during the new year and it was such a comfortable experience. The team were always around when you needed them and made the personal touches (like, nutcrackers fro Xmas, champagne for New Years) and knowing our daily routine and eating schedules (and special diet) was extraordinary. We really appreciated free parking, breakfast and lunch being included in the price. As well, there were L’Occitane products in the bathroom, fresh fluffy towels every day. Pool towels were always available poolside, too. I think what’s really made the extra touch is that the designers really thought of everything– including tall shower heads for tall men, free washer/dryer for long distance travelers like us (from Hong Kong), free filtered water, ice machines, great library and games. The other clientele were really warm and welcoming, too. As a gay resort, it was the perfect balance of calm, fun, kitsch (poolside), rest, sunshine and camaraderie. The owners also threw a welcome cocktail hour mid-week to personally welcome everyone. The privacy is perfect, located in the quiet Warm Sands neighborhood. Fresh flowers, bougainvillea and bright, clear blue skies. A great way to welcome the new year. We loved it so much, we even tried to book again for later in February– but they were already booked! Recommend booking early.
