My partner and I try to stay here at least one time a year, hopefully more often on a good year! The Hacienda is clearly the best of the gay resorts (probably all of the resorts!) in Palm Springs. All of the reviews you see here are spot on - top level amenities, privacy, comfort, and immaculate and beautiful accommodations. They offer room categories to fit different budgets and needs. My husband and I are fortunate to be able to travel often and to be able to stay in 1st class hotels/resorts. Besides P-town, we have not had great success staying in upscale gay resorts/hotels. In January we decided to book a 1 week relaxing getaway to Palm Springs. After seeing The Hacienda's website, we thought it was probably to good to be true but decided we would take a chance and stay there instead of the Ritz Carlton. The minute we walked into the gated compound, we knew we made a great choice. From being offered a glass a wine at check-in to seeing our beautifully decorated and spacious suite overlooking the pool and mountain range - we couldn't have been more pleased. The amazing breakfast delivered daily to our room and delicious lunches served poolside are just another example of how special this resort is. We were so impressed with the customer service the entire Hacienda's team gave us during our stay. They truly care about their guest and the resorts reputation. We decided to return to Palm Springs after a gap of 10 years. How things have changed. We stayed at The Hacienda for 5 nights in a Grand Deluxe Suite (6) and loved every minute of it. This is such a friendly relaxed place with immaculate accommodation and an attention to detail that surpasses most places. A huge thanks to Steve, Michael and Luis who all made our stay so enjoyable. The breakfast was great and we loved the light lunches. It gave us time to chill by the pool which we did every day. We walked into Palm Springs every day for our restaurant bookings and walked back after a few drinks in one of the many bars. We loved being able to walk everywhere - the hire car didn’t move at all! This is the third time I’ve stayed here. The staff is warm and attentive without being over bearing. The grounds are extremely well maintained and immaculate. I always sleep well and feel rested when I leave. This place is a gem - a gay clothing optional hotel managed to Swiss standards. It’s my favorite go to. Always book a suite - it’s worth it. This was a perfect get away! I planned a surprise 50th birthday vacation for my husband and the staff went above and beyond what I expected to make it truly special with daily surprises for him .The resort is gorgeous and the attention to detail on everything is nothing but amazing! The staff is second to none! I would highly recommend Hacienda suites if you are traveling to Palm Springs. We will definitely be back...it will be tough to top this one!! We're here for a week or more at least 3 times a year. A beautifully maintained property, great staff, and convenient location. Breakfast and lunch included in the daily rate. My hub and I just celebrated my 60th at athe Hacienda and it was wonderful. The staff were, one and all, very friendly, courteous and generous. The room was immaculate, the facilities excellent and the landscaping was beautiful. We could not have had a more relaxing vacation. You really can't beat The Hacienda. Just perfect in every way. Staff are wonderful, property is stunning, and the Grand Deluxe Suite is everything you could wish for. I've stayed here many times, and will continue to stay here in the years to come. They literally think of everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. The owners are lovely guys, and often host informal drinks so the guests get to meet and chat. The free lunchtime meals provided are a real boon too. Really feels like a home away from home. This is our fourth time at The Hacienda, and again there's nothing else to say that, it's perfect! The suite is spacious, clean, the bed is really comfortable, the air conditioning is really efficient and equipped with a fully functional kitchen. There's 2 new things since our last visit, 4 years ago. They have add a fireplace next by the spa, which make this really cute at night (but again, the spa is much too hot, it's certainly over 104 degrees. You should make it down around 100). Another nice thing is that you can have a glass of wine with each of your lunch at no cost; this is a really nice addition. Our course, will be back again for our next visit in Palm Springs. I heard great things about the Hacienda and it lived up to my expectations! Michael and Luis were amazing, friendly and so helpful. My suite, I admit is even better than my apartment in San Francisco. I was only here for a short stay but I am really looking forward to another visit to the desert. If you want a classy, relaxing, beautiful and luxe environment you must look into the Hacienda. I have stayed at a few other places in Palm Springs but this place is at the top of my list now. We stayed for a second time at the Hacienda and enjoyed consistency and another round of great service. The room was cleaned perfectly each day and we could hardly lift a finger without the staff asking to help us. The food was again fresh and delicious.
