I stayed for 5 days and wish I'd stayed longer! The staff are amazing esp Michael who made me feel really welcome from the second I checked in. The facility's are amazing, the choice of two heated pools in landscaped grounds and a really warm outside hot tub that is available 24/7. I chose the non clothing option to sit and tan, but at no time i was i ever uncomfortable and neither is it if you stay clothed. The resort only has 10 rooms, but that allows for the quality of service with their fantastic staff. The rooms are fantastic, (apartment sized almost), with every high quality amenity. So many toiletries by L'Occitane - that alone is worth the price! Great shower, a pillow menu and the beds are just right for two active people!!!! I would really recommend every gay guy give this place a visit - just not on the days im trying to book! 🙂 Can not say enough of this place. This was our third stay at the Hacienda, and it was wonderful as always. Everything you need is there, including breakfast and lunch, with options that are both tasty and healthy. The staff are all so welcoming and attentive. I love the pools and hot tubs. The comfortable beds are one reason I keep coming back. Once again the Hacienda has exceeded our expectations. The service by the staff is perfect - not overbearing but attentive. The facility is well maintained and calming. Reviewed 02/16 after initial stay. Returned 2 years later and even better this time. We stayed in the Jr Suite again to save a few $. Everyone on the staff is super helpful and attentive - thanks, Michael. Throw pillows on the bed embroidered with our first names. Catered lunch as well as breakfast so you don't have to leave the property from the time you wake up until it's time for supper. Feel so comfortable here - total relaxation, they think of everything. My partner and I stayed three nights at the Hacienda, returning for a second time in the last few years. What a great property that seems to have gotten even better the second time. Everyone on the staff is so pleasant and accommodating. Need something? Just ask and it's done! My partner and I try to stay here at least one time a year, hopefully more often on a good year! The Hacienda is clearly the best of the gay resorts (probably all of the resorts!) in Palm Springs. All of the reviews you see here are spot on - top level amenities, privacy, comfort, and immaculate and beautiful accommodations. They offer room categories to fit different budgets and needs. My husband and I are fortunate to be able to travel often and to be able to stay in 1st class hotels/resorts. Besides P-town, we have not had great success staying in upscale gay resorts/hotels. In January we decided to book a 1 week relaxing getaway to Palm Springs. After seeing The Hacienda's website, we thought it was probably to good to be true but decided we would take a chance and stay there instead of the Ritz Carlton. The minute we walked into the gated compound, we knew we made a great choice. From being offered a glass a wine at check-in to seeing our beautifully decorated and spacious suite overlooking the pool and mountain range - we couldn't have been more pleased. The amazing breakfast delivered daily to our room and delicious lunches served poolside are just another example of how special this resort is. We were so impressed with the customer service the entire Hacienda's team gave us during our stay. They truly care about their guest and the resorts reputation. We decided to return to Palm Springs after a gap of 10 years. How things have changed. We stayed at The Hacienda for 5 nights in a Grand Deluxe Suite (6) and loved every minute of it. This is such a friendly relaxed place with immaculate accommodation and an attention to detail that surpasses most places. A huge thanks to Steve, Michael and Luis who all made our stay so enjoyable. The breakfast was great and we loved the light lunches. It gave us time to chill by the pool which we did every day. We walked into Palm Springs every day for our restaurant bookings and walked back after a few drinks in one of the many bars. We loved being able to walk everywhere - the hire car didn’t move at all! This is the third time I’ve stayed here. The staff is warm and attentive without being over bearing. The grounds are extremely well maintained and immaculate. I always sleep well and feel rested when I leave. This place is a gem - a gay clothing optional hotel managed to Swiss standards. It’s my favorite go to. Always book a suite - it’s worth it. This was a perfect get away! I planned a surprise 50th birthday vacation for my husband and the staff went above and beyond what I expected to make it truly special with daily surprises for him .The resort is gorgeous and the attention to detail on everything is nothing but amazing! My hub and I just celebrated my 60th at athe Hacienda and it was wonderful. The staff were, one and all, very friendly, courteous and generous. The room was immaculate, the facilities excellent and the landscaping was beautiful. We could not have had a more relaxing vacation.
