We had 4 wonderful days and nights at The Hacienda, Warm Sands, Palm Springs. From our lovely room/studio, where everything was tasteful, comfortable and spotlessly clean! Lovely personal touches, welcome notes, chocolates, heart shaped cookie for Valentines Day and good quality fabrics/linen and toiletries. The staff were professional and friendly, always, we mainly interacted with Warren and Luis, they were lovely. Maurice and Jim the owners organised a welcome cheese and wine hour or so. They were very pleasant, naturally friendly and very informative. Our 1st visit to The Hacienda certainly won’t be our last, we’re already talking about our next visit. We're here several times a year: beautifully maintained property, wonderful staff, and near Palm Spring's great restaurants, shops, and fine art museum. Daily rate includes breakfast and lunch. From the public areas to the room, the property is spotless: no details are overlooked and it’s evident that maintenance is constant. Room itself (for this review, Patio 5) was ample, well-furnished, and comfortable. AC was powerful but whisper-quiet, and had one of the most restful beds - better than Four Seasons or Ritz Carltons. Try the pillow-menu options for something different. The welcome basket was a pleasant surprise, and an immensely well-stocked closet with any appliance you could imagine needing (a popcorn maker!) is outfitted with a basically full outfit of kitchenware. Staff here know what they’re doing! They are masters of customer service, so have a finely-tuned sense of how to pamper guests and anticipate needs: chilled towelettes, ice water and some more sunblock when by the pool? Check. A pack of snacks, water, and face wipes for a hike? Check. Suggestions about what to see/do in town that evening, coming from the locals? Check. They are genuine in their intent to assist and extremely accessible, yet also easygoing and unobtrusive when you need serenity and you-time. Included breakfasts and lunches only added to the exceptional value: wide selection of meals, high-quality and fresh-delivered daily from a local caterer. No plastic [...]

I've stayed at the Hacienda for many years, most recently in early 2020, and it never loses any of it's charm and magic. It's a cut above, not just for Warm Sands, but Palm Springs in general. The decor could be confused with any Ritz Hotel, both modern and classic. We stayed in a suite with a full kitchen, separate bedroom, and back patio. It's super quiet, with a small number of rooms grouped around two pools. The staff has, without exception, always been kind, open, prepared and just warm. We even had embroidered pillows with our names. This property competes not with the Ace hotels, but with the Parker's -- refined, upscale, quiet and effortlessly charming. Hacienda is a beautiful, small and very professionally managed guest facility in Palm Springs. The staff is so accommodating and ensure your comfort and stay is top notch. Every visit to Palm Springs my husband and I stay at Hacienda simply because of the environment, staff, hospitality, and perfection. This was our 4th stay there. If you are looking for a relaxing, tranquil vacation it doesn’t get any better than this! From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. The staff here is incredible. We even were able to stay an extra day and it was hard to leave. Our room! The service and the beautiful pool to swim and relax in, a great breakfast buffet and a menu to choose from for lunch served in your room or by the pool. I can’t wait to return. We recently spent five nights at the Hacienda at Warm Sands. Unfortunately for us this was way not enough time. If we had any idea how great this place was we would have doubled our time. The level of service and the attention to detail exceeded our expectations. When you walk through the gate you are in a relaxing and beautiful space. The room was immaculate, bed was comfortable and housekeeping was done daily. Two pools for ten rooms assures that a perfect lounge chair is always available. Not only was a delicious breakfast included, but also lunch. You are given an order form the night before with many selections of sandwiches, salads and wraps to choose from. Michael was great and anticipated our every need in advance. The only challenge now is to determine a time to go back. I stayed for 5 days and wish I'd stayed longer! The staff are amazing esp Michael who made me feel really welcome from the second I checked in. The facility's are amazing, the choice of two heated pools in landscaped grounds and a really warm outside hot tub that is available 24/7. I chose the non clothing option to sit and tan, but at no time i was i ever uncomfortable and neither is it if you stay clothed. The resort only has 10 rooms, but that allows for the quality of service with their fantastic staff. The rooms are fantastic, (apartment sized almost), with every high quality amenity. So many toiletries by L'Occitane - that alone is worth the price! Great shower, a pillow menu and the beds are just right for two active people!!!! I would really recommend every gay guy give this place a visit - just not on the days im trying to book! 🙂 Can not say enough of this place. This was our third stay at the Hacienda, and it was wonderful as always. Everything you need is there, including breakfast and lunch, with options that are both tasty and healthy. The staff are all so welcoming and attentive. I love the pools and hot tubs. The comfortable beds are one reason I keep coming back. (I don't sleep well on the overly soft beds at other places I've tried in PS). Our time there was the perfect antidote to the cold, dark Northwest winter. Reviewed 02/16 after initial stay. Returned 2 years later and even better this time. We stayed in the Jr Suite again to save a few $. Everyone on the staff is super helpful and attentive - thanks, Michael. Throw pillows on the bed embroidered with our first names. Catered lunch as well as breakfast so you don't have to leave the property from the time you wake up until it's time for supper. Feel so comfortable here - total relaxation, they think of everything. My partner and I stayed three nights at the Hacienda, returning for a second time in the last few years. What a great property that seems to have gotten even better the second time. Everyone on the staff is so pleasant and accommodating. Need something? Just ask and it's done! Our sole regret is that we didn't spend a few more days enjoying the spotless facilities, great bed, and prime location. We couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Palm Springs.
