THE place to stay in Palm Springs
Our stay at the Hacienda was amazing. The grounds are maintained very well. The two pools were kept very clean, and the pool chairs were always ready for a relaxing day in the sun. The rooms were very well appointed with everything you could need for your stay. Our suite had a kitchen, and it was so nice to step just outside our door to enjoy the included breakfast and lunch poolside. Evenings poolside and at the hot tub were the perfect setting for conversation and bonding with fellow travelers. We were fortunate to meet the owners Jim & Maurice during their margarita mixer. They were very welcoming and it was clear that they take pride in their establishment (as they should!). The small number of rooms means that the staff is able to get to know each guest. They were outstanding and did whatever they could to make our stay perfect. Michael was extremely helpful, and was genuinely interested in making our stay pleasant. Wow…consistently ABSOLUTELY Fabulous
We've stayed at the Hacienda 4 times now. It's a beautiful resort with excellent service, close to local bars and restaurants. Our Thanksgiving stay was relaxing. Another Excellent Stay
We enjoyed a second great stay at The Hacienda in October. The rooms, pools, and grounds are impeccably clean and well maintained, 24/7. Could they update the lounge chairs? Yeah, they are a bit on the 'weathered' side, but not really a problem. The staff, as always, is outstanding. A special citation for exceptional service goes to Michael for his kind assistance with checking in, printing our boarding passes, and for always providing helpful suggestions, or a chilled towel or bottle of water just when you really need it. Best of the best Gay Resorts
Amazing place to stay! Gorgeous views, beautiful clean and comfortable suites, and the service is impeccable! The complimentary continental breakfast by the pool in the morning is lovely and the included catered lunch is also 1st class! I have stayed here twice and would recommend it to any gay single or gay couple wishing to enjoy luxury accommodations while in Palm Springs! Always a Pleasure
This was my second time staying at the Hacienda and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The accommodations and staff were just perfect. We couldn't have asked for anything more. I had had shoulder surgery recently and needed a get-away and the Hacienda was just the perfect place to stay. The pools were especially helpful for my shoulder recovery. The staff seemed to sense our need for a cold water or cool towel for our faces. While it was hot in Palm Springs, the rooms and pools were the perfect place to cool off. I will definitely return. Perfect Service for Relaxation
This was our 9th visit to The Hacienda at Warm Sands. As usual the rooms are great and the service impeccable. Lunch by the pool is always a treat. When the sun gets to hot in the afternoon, then its a perfect time for a massage. With only 10 rooms it's amazing how many great people you meet. We love the pillow club too. A relaxing visit.
It's hard to express in words how relaxing my stay was at the Hacienda at Warm Sands. Even though I was traveling alone, I felt like I had true friends looking out for me in Palm Springs who made my stay very personal and special. Even though the entire property was incredible, I found the location unequivocal with regards to walking distance to downtown Palm Springs and even to the Tahquitz Indian Canyon. I will be back soon! Lovely Stay
Everything at the Hacienda was well though-out and appointed, rooms are nice, environment private and comfortable, and location is central to just about everything (driving, though, not really walking). My only recommendation would be to address how loud the air conditioning units are in rooms -- they did make quite a noise that disturbed some sleep, but of course, it's Palm Springs and the units are working overtime. Best gay resort in Palm Springs
This is the second time that I have stayed at The Hacienda while visiting Palm Springs. There is so much about it that I like that it is hard to list everything, however a few are: 1) the staff was extremely friendly and responded to every request fully and promptly, 2) the room was very comfortable, had safe and Wi-Fi, and everything was top-of-the-line, 3) European-style breakfast and lunch was delicious and the staff would wrap your lunch if you wanted it saved for later so you really can just spend the whole day on the grounds if you choose, 4) the grounds are very private and fairly spacious in that every 5 or 6 rooms has their own pool and there is also a hot tub, 5) the hotel is within walking distance of many stores - including a large grocery store, 6) it is close to the airport. Although it is a little more expensive than many of the other gay resorts, it is also much nicer (I think). It is the only place that I will consider staying. Jasmine-scented paradise
Stayed here for 4 days with my partner in April 17, in a junior suite. Things we liked most were the mountain backdrop behind the pool, the friendly service, the lovely jasmine scent and very good breakfast and lunch. Lots of thoughtful touches everywhere, even wipes for your spectacles. Clean and comfortable. Very relaxing and good company with fellow guests. The staff and grounds are impeccable. I chose a larger room than during my first stay. It was a minor upgrade that made the stay even more enjoyable. The grounds are serene.
