We just returned from another amazing stay at the Hacienda. Running a hotel is an art, and these guys have mastered it. Also, this year we enjoyed the new fireplace at the hot tub and the newly redone pool. Complimentary breakfast and lunch, amazingly friendly staff and the most comfy rooms. I have stayed in similar properties before - in Provincetown, in Ft Lauderdale, and in PSP on earlier visits. My first stay at the Hacienda confirmed what many others have said - it's by far the best of any of them, and really exceeded my expectations. The staff you interact with daily are all top-notch. Steve, Robbie, Luis, Paul - they all take pride in what they do and they do it very well. Just a pleasure to deal with! The food is very good - breakfast is buffet style with high-quality goods (not the pre-packaged muffins common in most places). A proper lunch is also included, and you can choose your entre from a personalized daily list. I had the salmon salad twice and it was in the "superior" category. Staff bring a tray to your room, or you can eat poolside at an umbrella table. There are two swimming pools, a hot tub by the front pool, and an outdoor fireplace for socializing. Monday night Jim & Maurice (owners) hosted a wine & nibbles reception for all the guests. Our second visit to this corner of heaven! Firstly, Palm Springs is gorgeous, but The Hacienda transcends calm, comfort, friendliness and everything one needs for a perfect holiday. We were fortunate to have 9 nights staying in Suite 1. The living space is generous with kitchen, dining area (we ate outside and out...!) a great lounge and a bed to sleep to heaven on. Nice touches like the Mike and Sean embroidered bed cushions. The team looking after you are discrete but attentive. We have to mention the lovely Robbie, who's a total charmer! Love your Coyote fur... Steve, who is a sparkler, Paul whose lunches (and these are included) are totally 'yum' and Luis, who makes sure that your room is always top notch. Thank you gents. The Hacienda is one of less than five places all over the world, that we have had fortune to stay at that is just the perfect balance. Beautiful pools and clean very well maintained gardens. Decided to go to Palm Springs over Christmas. I stayed at the Hacienda at Warm Sands. I have stayed in many gay B & B's but this is the best by far. I have never felt so welcomed than during my stay. The staff was excellent through and through. Beautiful facility with everything thought of so all you have to do is relax and enjoy yourself. I had a weekend to burn while working in LA last week, so I decided try The Hacienda once more for a relaxing weekend in Palm Springs. My last review was positive, but not without some fault. This time I booked the largest suite I could and ended up with Room 7 in the back of the property. This was much better than last time and the room was incredible. The service was wonderful and gracious, this time I got to meet the owners at the hosted wine reception, and I was absolutely relaxed and pampered the entire weekend. There wasn't anything that wasn't taken care of -- and it was peaceful and quiet the entire time. I left early on a Monday morning (around 4am) and that evening, my breakfast for the next day was placed inside my refrigerator in the kitchen. A thoughtful touch. Also, while I was warned about an impending re-landscape of the property (beginning the morning of my departure), I didn't frankly notice anything in need of repair. Conveniently located near the best shopping and restaurants in Palm Springs. Beautifully landscaped, secluded grounds with great views of the San Jacinto Mountains. This intimate boutique resort has 10 suites each of which faces one of two beautiful swimming pools. The suites are spacious, well furnished and very comfortable. The staff are truly gracious hosts, thoughtful, responsive and always eager to assist. The continental breakfast is wonderful, but eclipsed by the magnificent luncheons served poolside or in your suite. This is less of a resort and more of an exclusive retreat. It is a pleasant 15 minutes walk into town. The rooms are more of a one bedroom apartment and luxurious. It has good furnishings including two oversized sofas. These were handy because it poured with rain, so we could still stretch out in the air conditioned room to watch TV. The wifi is blistering fast and ubiquitous throughout the property, so we could steam TV easily. There is a real effort in the smallest of touches - many many thick linens, L'Occitaine toiletries, towels for the lounges that actually fit and go the whole length of the lounger. There are additional guest pool towels in the room. It is fastidiously clean - it is not a mere 15 minutes room clean - the polish and dusters are out. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans do we guess you could have a much longer stay here. It was a novel addition to have popcorn provided and a popcorn machine. When we checked in, they asked if we needed decaf (which we did) and some capsule for the coffee machine turned up immediately. We needed some milk - a cup [...]

We arrived and one pillow on the bed had "Jim" on it. The next morning a second pillow had been stitched with my partner's name "Uri" on it. .. What? That has never happened before (though Uri wanted to take the pillow with him when he left LOL). That and so many nice touches, breakfast fantastic, lunch to order as you wish.. all included. The very best resort we have stayed at in PS. We were looking for a getaway to enjoy a quiet week of pure relaxation and definitely found it here. Our grand deluxe suite (#7) was spacious and meticulously maintained by the housekeeping staff - and just a few short steps from the pool. Very rarely have I found a bed away from home to be so comfortable, with high quality linens and a Pillow Menu! Bathrooms were nicely appointed with quality towels and toiletries. The grounds and pools were always spotless. Every morning we enjoyed coffee and continental breakfast while watching the hummingbirds, but it was the lunch delivered either to our suite or poolside that was exceptional – fresh, tasty, and so convenient! It made it so much easier for us to just stop, relax and enjoy the sun and pool, rather than run around town. We appreciated many ‘above and beyond’ features, including the 2 mini-refrigerators, the double shower, the comfortable padded lounge chairs, use of the laundry facilities, the cookies that followed lunch, etc. The entire staff was highly professional, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. My husband and I reached out to a Palm Springs friend and asked where to stay for our fall vacation (we are from Atlanta). There was no pause - he recommended the Hacienda. And we now understand why. We were impressed with the size of the suite and all of the wonderful amenities. The suites are more than spacious, and sparkling clean is an understatement. The staff is warm and friendly, and always asked if we needed anything. The pool lounge chairs are continuously set for relaxing, with perfect mood music for different times of the day. It is a perfect setting to either meet others or be to yourselves. The resort is located close to the airport, downtown and grocery shopping. We plan to come back soon and will definitely return to The Hacienda when we do. This is our 7th visit since 2004 and continue to be true fans of the facilities, pools, grounds and wonderful attentive service we consistently experience. The entire staff is dedicated to making our stays enjoyable and trouble free. Helpful for restaurant bookings or other tours or excursions, making recommendations... but I can't! This place never fails to live up to all the glowing and well deserved reviews it receives. It really is above and beyond any place I've stayed in Palm Springs, or anywhere for that matter, and I've been around. Lol. If you can afford it, stay in the grand deluxe suites, they are fantastic. Every amenity has been thought of. This was 3rd visit to The Hacienda, and I hope I'll be back asap. The staff are wonderful, always asking if you need anything. The lunch delivered either poolside or to your room for free is a fantastic touch. I was invited for margarita's with the owners and other guest one evening. It was a great way to meet the other guests. The owners clearly put much effort into this place, and it shows. I could honestly live in apartment 6 for the rest of my days! My partner and I absolutely loved our week at The Hacienda at Warm Sands! Upon arriving we felt welcomed by the friendly staff. Our room was ready early and every detail surpassed all our expectations! The location was walking distance to many local hot spots and restaurants. The meals provided were delicious. The staff took great pride in providing the best service we have experienced. Good things come in threes and so it is with our most recent stay at the Hacienda. This was the third summer we have been there and it just keeps getting better and better since we know the people who work there and they know us. Again, Steve did an outstanding job at setting up the reservation, even letting us know that the included lunch would be available to order prior to our arrival, which was ready for us when we checked in on Saturday. Steve greeted us like old friends and had our room ready in the back part of the resort. We love the atmosphere at this pool since the landscaping is very soothing when you are laying in the pool. Paul and Robbie as always were a great help throughout our stay. Again, since we were repeat guests, we had pillows with our names embroidered on them on the bed when we checked in. The owners, Jim and Maurice, hosted a cocktail reception on Saturday and we got to catch up with a couple we had met on our stay 2 years ago, so it was really like being with good friends.
