My partner Rob and I have been coming to The Hacienda for nearly 10 years. Why has it taken me so long to write something about it? It's one of those special places on the planet that is so special to me that you almost don't want to share. The owners Jim and Maurice have taken so much time and effort to make sure that you have all the incredible amenity's that you would ever need. And then there are the wonderful people that care of your every need. (no guys not every need, they do leave that up to you). Tom and the rest of the staff are wonderful. I know that the prices of the Hacienda are a little bit higher than most of the resorts in this area, but trust me it's worth every dollar. Those of you who haven't taken the time to walk thru that front gate beware. Once you do all those other places that you have been staying at will never look the same. A relaxing Home Away from Home
This is the second time I have stayed at the Hacienda at Warm Sands. I loved it the first time and loved my stay here even more the second time. The rooms are spacious, clean and distinctively decorated. The gift basket in the room with the personalize card welcoming my partner and I was a nice touch. Wonderful Honeymoon
It was an excellent place to celebrate our Honeymoon. All was absolutely perfect, we recommanded strongly this hotel to have peace and quietness. Feels like home away from home
Returned to the Hacienda with my partner and 6 close friends to celebrate our 5th anniversary. The resort and the Staff are never a let down!! Not only is EVERYONE accommodating, they go the extra mile to make you feel like you are a guest in their home. The owners (Maurice & Jim) treat each guest as a "guest star"!! They (along with Tom, Paul and Steve) made sure all of our needs/wants were met and made absolutely sure we ALL had FAB time. The Best in Palm Springs
We have just spent a wonderful week at the Hacienda Resort. It was our first visit and it’s an outstanding place to stay. Owners, Jim, and Maurice have created a luxury haven in Palm Springs. The accolades that they have gathered both from other reviewers on Trip Advisor and elsewhere, are all justified. This is one of the best gay reports we’ve stayed in. The suites are very tastefully appointed with well-equipped kitchens. The grounds are delightful; lush plants and flowers with two good sized swimming pools and hot tub. Views of the mountains, especially as the sun sets, are sublime. The catered breakfasts and lunches are excellent and we found it hard to tear ourselves away to a restaurant for dinner some evenings. Instead, we used our kitchen to prepare dinner and dined outside under the stars. Wonderful! Maurice, Jim and their entire team are the perfect hosts. They have set a standard for gay lodging which in our experience very few other establishments can match. ABSOLUTE PERFECTION
My partner and I just got home from our weekend stay at The Hacienda (March 25-29). When we arrived, we were greeted by Steve who made us feel right at home. He quickly checked us in and gave us a tour of the grounds and then our Suite (#3). First impression? TOP NOTCH! The grounds nicely landscaped and lush, our Suite, well appointed and welcoming. Breakfast and Lunch were of high quality and served poolside. The entire staff was very friendly and courteous. Steve is the manager (and very cute too!) he shows great pride and dedication in ensuring a fantastic stay. WE WILL BE BACK!!! By far the best accommodations in Warm Sands!
We knew just from looking at the website that we were in for a treat. Having never been to Palm Springs before, we trusted TripAdvisor and chose the Hacienda. I am happy to say that it is, by far, the best place we have ever been for a romantic getaway! The staff was absolutely spot-on. There when you needed them, and away when you wanted privacy. The daily breakfast and lunch service was not only convenient, but delicious! We spent so much time lounging in our suite and by the pool, we didn't even bother to check out some of the more popular tourist destinations. Before we left, we booked the same week for 2012. My partner and I were thrilled with our February stay at The Haceinda at Warms Sands. Owners Maurice and Jim could not have been more hospitable. The setting is quiet and the grounds are beautiful. The service was impeccable -- every staff member was so helpful and courteous. There was no bad attitude, which is so common nowdays. This is a high caliber place. Our room was very clean; the bed very comfortable. The location was very convenient-- so easy to get to area restaurants and bars. We highly recommend it! My partner and I have stayed at The Hacienda so many times we have lost count. The Hacienda absolutely knows how to handle every single detail so that you don't have too. The grounds are impeccable and absolutely beautful. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The two-person showers are a divine luxury. The staff is super friendly and goes out of their way to be sure guests are introduced to each other. The continental breakfast always has fresh fruit and delicious muffins. Treat Yourself to Extradordinary Luxury
The Hacienda is my favorite boutique hotel in the Palm Springs area. The rooms are immaculate and exquisitely appointed. The staff are attentive and always make an extra effort to make sure that you feel at home. The pools, spa areas and grounds are luxurious making it easy to melt away into vacation mode. The fact that a tasty catered lunch is delivered on a daily basis makes leaving the resort during the day seem pointless. I particularly enjoyed the convenience of a small fully stocked kitchen and the fireplace in the suite. (Even though I only make coffee with the Keurig and frozen cocktails with the blender, it was nice to know that I could've done much more.) Did I mention the wonderful personalized service??? During our stay we encountered some difficulties operating the flat screen TV in the bedroom. The management immediately addressed and solved the problem. In fact, they were even prepared to provide a new TV, but fortunately an easier solution was discovered. The owners and staff are friendly but they also manage to be low-key about things. We made a very last-minute decision to make our first trip to Palm Springs and had no clue where to stay. We did a Google search and Hacienda was at the top of the list. After a little more research on the internet (including Trip Advisor) we made the quick decision to book our stay. The accommodations were large, nice and very clean and mere steps from the pool. The service throughout our visit was second-to-none and the lunch that's included was a really nice addition. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the small resort was very nice. While the sights around Palm Springs are great, we spent the vast majority of our stay at the pool. It didn't hurt that the weather was perfect. We can't wait to go back.

My partner and I have stayed at three of the properties in the Warm Sands area. We always have fun almost anywhere we go and have found really attractive qualities at each of the properties. The Hacienda distinguishes itself among them all. The service is very much like a deluxe hotel. The staff is amazing with their attentiveness and their discretion. If you like beauty and comfort, if you like good coffee in the morning and a wonderful lunch served to you poolside then this is the place for you. The guys we met there were friendly and diverse. Gay Heaven in Palm Springs!
We had a fabulous time at Hacienda over the New Years holiday. Jim & Maurice, the owners, as well as Steve,Tom and the rest of the staff could not do enough for us. The suites are beautiful, and the location could not be better. Even on days where the weather did not exactly cooperate, it was relaxing to hang out read,watch a movie from their selection. The other guests were also wonderful. We made new friends, and have already booked a return trip in April. Another great stay!
This was our second visit to the Hacienda. Again, it was a great experience. Steve, Paul, Tom, Cliff, and Luis pay very close attention to the details which was appreciated. The lunch continues to be a healthy set of choices and good quality. As we stayed over Christmas a bottle of bubbly was provided which was a really nice touch. Housekeeping did an excellent job ensuring that every little thing was tidy. The resort is very laid back and always a peaceful and relaxing place to be. One suggestion would be to host a regular social hour throughout the week. With a large property and fewer rooms than other resorts, it can be tough to connect with other guests.
