Been to Palm Springs many times. Started off staying at various resorts in the Warm Sands area. After a while, I got a bit fed up with the standard, safety and customer service issues with one or two of the resorts. Since then I have stayed at The Hyatt (downtown). After reading the amazing reviews about The Hacienda, I decided to give Warm Sands another go. I wasn't disappointed! I was lucky enough to be up-graded to the Grand Deluxe Suite (thank you guys). They even allowed me to have a very early check-in. Some hotels/guest houses will refuse you an early check in, even if the room is available. Steve, the General Manager was at the desk when I arrive and was very friendly, as were all of the staff. My suite was gorgeous. Spotlessly clean, and tastefully furnished. Every amenity I could think of, was there. A great touch is the lunch provided, either at poolside or left in your room, if you're out. The Hacienda is by far the best boutique style accomdation that we have had the fortune to stay at. This was our second stay and if was as if nothing had changed. Aside from being in a great location, close to down town, the facilities, cleanliness and possibly their greatest asset, their staff are exceptional. We have stayed in many fine hotels in our travels and the Hacienda is certainly up there what they have to offer. We will be back. This was our third and not our last stay at The Hacienda. As we have become to expect, everything met our expectations. From the welcome, to getting our own pillows, attention to detail, cleanliness, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff... this was a truly wonderful experience. The resort is quiet but you can quickly meet nice people from all over who help enhance the stay. The breakfast spread is of excellent quality. Wide choice of always fresh salads or sandwiches for lunch. Well located in the Warm Sands area, walking distance to downtown, restaurants and bars. This is our second trip to the Hacienda at Warm Sands. I didn't think that they could outdo themselves but they did. Stephen and his staff are ever present but never intrusive. They are genuinely friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are impeccably maintained. Breakfast and lunch are a wonderful perk that you rarely find in hotels today. Lunch is served at poolside, in your room or put in your fridge if you happen to be out. My partner and I have travelled all over the world, staying in five star properties but nothing equals the overall experience at The Hacienda. I needed to go to Palm Springs for a memorial and made a weekend out of it. I was told to stay at The Hacienda because it was close to everything and also wasn't like some of the other places on Warm Sands Drive, which I was told, could be a sleazy. The recommendation couldn't have been more spot on. The staff was amazing, the environment stunning and it couldn't be more perfectly located. I had a wonderful weekend even though I was there for a rather sad occasion. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wanted rest and relaxation. I did notice a lot of the other guests mingling but I needed time to myself and didn't put myself out there. I believe if you want social activity within the compound, that is there for you too. This was our first trip to Palm Springs. We usually visit Ft Lauderdale 3-4 times a year and have stayed at most of the gay guest houses there. Nothing there even comes close to the Hacienda. The staff at the Hacienda are simply wonderful. Every single one of them. The owners were just back from a European vacation, but stopped in to host a happy hour. Lovely, non-pretentious people. The rooms are over the top at this place. We stayed in the smallest courtyard room #5. Great room, but do yourself a favor and spring for the poolside rooms. It's so worth every penny. This place pays attention to the little things. Things like extra thick cushioning on the lounge chairs around both pools (touch of luxury). The welcome basket in our room was a nice, unexpected personal touch. If you need anything at all, just ask. These folks genuinely care about making your stay wonderful. When we checked in, I mentioned that I was training for a marathon and wondered if there were good running areas nearby. Within 3 minutes of being in the room, a staff member had been alerted and printed maps of 6 running trails were delivered. Wow! Again, [...]

The Hacienda came recommended and I've not been disappointed. The place is great, the staff very friendly, helpful, accomodating but most of all, non-obtrusive. I love it for the two pools, great rooms with modern, european style, bathrooms, a very reasonable room price including breakfast and lunch and for its staff. I would recommend it to anyone and would surely come back to it again when in Palm Springs. This was our first visit to the Hacienda and we were very impressed by the quality of the accommodation throughout. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff went out of their way to make sure that we were looked after and had a good time. The breakfasts were wonderful and the lunch menu perfect for a warm relaxing day by the pool. It's a long way from Europe, but if you are making the trip this is a great place to stay and I would be very confident that you will be happy with what you find. We've stayed elsewhere in Palm Springs before. We didn't know what we were missing. Many promise an extraordinary experience, but the Hacienda delivers. We visited for some much needed downtime and were impressed with this well kept, friendly and comfortable property. We've got a "new place" at the Hacienda ! This was our first time stayng here and we were taking back by the courtesy and the attention Tom and the staff there gave us. The place was beautiful and clean. The continental breakfast and the specialty lunch menu was great. The premises was kept clean and the pools heated. The staff was attentive and well informed. If you are looking for a Gay Resort thats peaceful and attenive then this is the place for you. We cant wait to go back. I give it 10 Stars.*********. All of the effusive comments from past reviewers are true! The Hacienda is fantastic! We have visited three times to celebrate our anniversary and each time it gets better. The rooms, the service, the atmosphere and the clientele are all splendid! We have stayed in the Grand Deluxe Suite room 7 and 9 - back side of the property. The room itself is spacious, comfortable and clean. Each room had a patio in back however the poolside is where we spent most of our time. The pools and grounds are very relaxing. The continental breakfast has a great assortment of fresh items to start your day. The catered lunch is delicious and there are many options to select from. The only thing missing is more time to stay. We plan to be back again. I arrived at the Hacienda for an eight night stay on the 8th of August. Jim checked me in and directed me to the room. Now, I have stayed in many resorts in Palm Springs and was blown away by the elegance of the place. The suites were equipped with L'Occitane bath products. The shower had multiple heads, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I appreciated that the house-keeping staff always replaced the pool towels daily and bottles of water were replenished. One of my favorite things was the Keurig coffee maker with individual coffee pods. I enjoyed getting very early to have my coffee in the jacuzzi to watch the sun illuminate the San Jacinto mountains; and a cup of coffee that I could actually drink from a hotel room was immensely satisfying. The resort was immaculate and one thing I noticed was how often the pool maintenance guy came by to service/test the water of the jacuzzi and pools. Three or four times during my stay. Impressive. We stayed at the Hacienda for the first time in July 2012 and, by the end of August that year, we had already booked flights from Europe for July 2013 for an eagerly anticipated return vacation to Palm Springs and the Hacienda. Having stayed in a Deluxe suite before, we reserved the same room and arriving this year truly felt like coming home. We had planned to stay 7 nights, but the thought of leaving so soon was too depressing and we managed to persuade the airline, and Steve, to let us extend the trip for another two nights. The Deluxe suits are just that - amazing. They have fully equipped kitchens which makes it a nice option to eat in sometimes - after stocking up with groceries from the nearby Ralph's - assuming you can face supper after the breakfast and amazing lunch (all included in the price). Our suite had a private rear patio which was perfect for coffee in the morning and the bed even had personalized cushions with our names on them, really making us feel we were being welcomed back home. The Hacienda at Warm Sands was by far the best place I have stayed in Palm Springs. I stayed in Deluxe Suite 1. The suite was large, comfortable, and very clean. The shower was great. It had dual shower heads and square shower jets mounted in the wall. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and accomodating. Each morning the continental breakfast was served in the breezeway and in the afternoon, you had the option of having your catered lunch served poolside or in your room. The catered lunch was a nice touch in that you did not need to leave during the day to get lunch and could just lounge by one of the two pools all day. The staff was also accomodating in that they were more than happy to recommend restaurants, makes reservations, schedule massages, etc. One of the great features at The Hacienda was the Personal Shopping service. The Personal Shopping service is a pre-arrival service where you submit a list of food, beverages(non-alcohol and alcohol), personal items like sunscreen in advance of your visit. For $35 plus the cost of the items purchased, the items will be stocked in your room upon your arrival. I utilized this service and wonder [...]
