We just spent 5 days at the Hacienda in Palm Springs. The room was spacious, and the service was extraordinary. They provide breakfast and lunch and were very accommodating. The grounds are very nice and we spent a lot of time in the 2 pools. The location is also excellent. We would (will!) stay here again for sure! Our third visit to this wonderful place with ten rooms around two beautiful pools. Our "room" was huge with a large bedroom with king bed, a living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a large private patio, and an extraordinary shower. The room and grounds are beautiful and spotless. Continental breakfast and a light lunch are served every day. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating. This is our favorite vacation spot. In Brief.... Pros - Luxurious grounds, two swimming pools, excellent breakfast and lunch included with the room price, large luxurious rooms, a stylish and elegant hotel. Cons - We were not informed on check in that lunch was included, The hot tub was hot. L'Occitane products were not always replaced in the bathroom. In detail.... I was fortunate enough to spend a week at The Hacienda in early March 2015, I had spent the first night at a hotel across the road "InnDulge" which had nice grounds and pool, but alas a poorly decorated room with a disabled bathroom that resembled a Starbucks public toilet! The relief of walking (escaping!) into the Hacienda was the real start to our holiday, the Hacienda is close to perfection, calm, luxurious, comfortable and stylish. The hotel is also impeccably clean and had a high level of client focused service. If you are looking to relax in a hotel that is as comfortable as being in a home from home, then look nowhere else. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite and it was beautiful and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the pillows likewise. Wooden shutters on all of the suite windows adds to the luxurious feeling [...]

Stayed 3 nights at Hacienda and a last night at another clothing optional gay property (since Hacienda was full). Top likes at Hacienda: 5-star everything, lovely beds and linens, everything clean, breakfast and lunch included low sexual temp. They even shopped for us which saved us getting a rental car and booked two great restaurants (Lulu and Aria). (Store is 10-15 min walk away). Pool, grounds, flowers etc. all lovely. Staff super attentive and friendly. Recommend for anyone wanting to pamper themselves. Lovely fellow guests - friendly but not imposing. Stayed at a lot of gay resorts and Hacienda is easily in our top three. My husband and I recently visited Palm Springs for a business trip and The Hacienda was the hotel a friend recommended to us. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival and made to feel at home immediately by the entire staff. The service is top notch. Our room was terrific- spacious, comfortable and very clean. We had French doors that opened up to the pool area which was wonderful. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and we were incredibly comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. They played relaxing spa-like music by the pool which incredibly relaxing. Breakfast and lunch was included in our stay which was really nice. Another nice treat was that we met some really great guys here- people we will likely keep in touch with in the future. While down on a business trip, I decided to stay over in Palm Springs for some fun in the sun. After an absolutely disastrous first night at another "resort," I was able to snag a Deluxe Junior suite here. From check-in, I realized that the Hacienda Warm Sands was an oasis where one can relax and socialize in a very calm and beautiful location. Lots of small touches further elevated the experience. Attentive and friendly staff. While it comes at a price, it was worth every dime. It's great to be remembered from an earlier visit. We were greeted like old returning friends. There were custom pillows on our bed with our names in them! All the things you look for: comfort, cleanliness, responsive staff, are all here. The suite was spacious. A generous breakfast and lunch comes as part of the stay. And NO tipping is allowed at any time for any reason. This is by far the best place to stay among the gay resorts in Palm Springs. This is one of the nicest gay resorts in Palm Springs. They have two pools and a hot tub. They have about 10 rooms and you get to know people easily. The breakfast that is provided is very high quality. The staff is friendly. The stay includes lunch which was a nice surprise as I did not realize that when I booked the stay. You have a menu of lunch options and they bring it right to you. I can't speak highly enough of this wonderful retreat. One of the best stays ever! My husband and I ushered in the New Year with a fabulous stay at The Hacienda at Warm Sands. From the moment of our arrival New years Eve, with a bottle of champagne awaiting us in our suite, to the hugs shared with the outstanding staff upon our departure, every moment was perfect. The suite was spacious and immaculate, with attention to every detail a guest could desire. The multi-headed shower was luxurious, they provided L'Occitane personal care products top notch, and the abundance of towels and bath robes never ending. The delicious morning breakfast and daily lunch were a real plus; it was a pleasure to know we could return from our morning outings to a freshly prepared (ordered from the menu) lunch waiting for us poolside or in our suite. The grounds were impeccably maintained, and two pools for a ten room boutique hotel created the utmost in privacy and serenity. Our suite in the front half of the facility opened to the pool and hot tub with a spectacular view of the nearby mountains, while the rear pool was a bit more private and heavily landscaped. The staff were supremely attentive and courteous, addressing our every request promptly and willingly. [...]

The holiday at the Hacendia was my first time staying at the Resort. My stay was three weeks of total enjoyment. The entire staff could not have been more accommodating They went completely out of their way to make my stay with them totally enjoyable MY accommodations were very comfortable indeed. Several pluses for the Hacienda one of them is the proximity of accommodations to the swimming pools. Mine was only fifteen feet. Another is the proximity to Palm Springs Proper. A mere fifteen to twenty minute walk depending on your gait. Another plus I enjoyed is the clothing optional. I love swimming in the nude. So I am looking forward to another sojourn to the Dessert, at the Hacienda at Warm Sands. My partner and I again traveled to The Hacienda last October (2014) for what is our regular annual time to stay. October is great for the weather and we have been taking advantage of the Columbus Day holiday for our 8-9 day stays. The atmospshere is always fantastic, quiet, and private. The staff has become our extended family since 2003 and have had the pleasure to staying there no less than about 16 times! The staff is always very attentive, helpful in arranging reservations at restaurants, very outgoing, and pay attention to every detail in guest comforts. Our stays never seem long enough. Time for us stands still once we enter the lush green courtyards. Once we settle in we only leave for dinner or shopping. Rest of the time is poolside, reading, visiting with friends or meeting new ones. Each trip is always different, and always relaxing. We met a great couple 3 years ago from Abbots Langley, London, UK and we now arrange our travel schedule to coincide with theirs at the Hacienda. During a visit to Palm Springs in early November, we sampled several different resorts choosing to stay our final stretch at the Hacienda at Warm Sands; our first stay here. As Canadians, the visit south was a nice break from the cold! Every aspect of our stay was top-drawer! Check-in was easy and comfortable as the staff on duty walked us thru the various aspects of the property and our suite. Everything was explained to our satisfaction and we set out to the grocery store to pick up some wine, cheese and a few items to have in the kitchen of our unit. The suite itself was spot on. Having a living room separate from the sleeping area was a godsend as both of us aren't always wanting to take a nap or watch TV at the same time. The hot tub was plenty hot and we met a few folks while lounging there. A couple from Quebec were in the room next to ours and we enjoyed a nice dinner with them one evening and made some new friends. The catered lunch well exceeded my expectations. The Hacienda is the only place where we'd stay in Palm Springs. The rooms are always beautifully furnished & personalized & feel better than being at home. The grounds are intimate, immaculate & function well. The staff are always professional & attentive & make our stays absolutely fantastic. There are so many extra touches & amenities offered that we're always surprised & pleased. This was an amazing place. We loved the room (much larger than most Toronto condo's). There was a gas fireplace in the livingroom, a kitchenette and then a separate bedroom and bathroom. It felt like home - but upscale. The staff were beyond helpful and were genuinely concerned with our comfort and needs. There was nothing lacking. The breakfast was complete and better than some neighbouring inns (those we have stayed in - two others). The catered lunch is a much better idea than the 'happy hour' offered at some other places. We were often out during the days and we were pleased to find that our lunch had been wrapped up and stored in our fridge. We were able then to have restaurant lunches on our day trips in the Palm Springs area, and then have this lunch from the hotel as our supper. They even washed our dishes - I felt so guilty. Although it was unseasonably cold, the stay at the Hacienda made up for it with its generous hospitality. When we first looked at (Gay) wedding venues; we had first considered other countries. (OMG the bureaucracy was impossible.) Then we decided on a US wedding - finally settling on Palm Springs. Neither of us had been there – so everything was to be a new experience for us. The Wedding was to be held on 12/13/14 (for a "magical" wedding date). We first considered some of the big resorts. It was soon evident that for what we wanted, something more intimate was appropriate. The Hacienda at Warm Sands proved to be the perfect place. It was big enough to provide superior service and yet – made us feel like we were the only Guests there. Killer Breakfasts – awesome catered Lunches – warm pools (and the pictures don't do the views justice!) Our wedding was so personal that even our Officiant teared-up! What a gorgeous place! The Hacienda is a spectacular place for luxurious style, relaxation, fun as well as privacy with the beautiful courtyards and Deluxe Suites. Their staff is always attentive, knowledgeable and creates such a welcoming environment throughout the visits we have made through the years.
