I drove over from Tucson, Arizona at first and spent three wonderful nights at the Hacienda, just relaxing and enjoying the pampered, luxurious ambiance. Then, could not wait to go back again, a month later. The next time it was for four equally wonderful days and nights. I had one of the larger suites with separate dining, sitting, sleeping and bath areas. The small kitchen is perfect for me because I like to sit by the pool in the evening and eat a light meal rather than go out to a restaurant. At the Hacienda, that is a perfect match. Some places do not have in-suite refrigerator nor a small kitchen area for preparation of small meals, so they are off my radar. The housekeeping at Hacienda is perfect with attention to every detail. And the bath and body products by L'Occitane are a perfect high-end luxury additional touch. Breakfast variety is perfect and where else can you find a complementary lunch included?! It just doesn't get any better than the Hacienda at Warm Springs. My partner and I spent 3 nights at the Hacienda. We were recommended by an acquaintance, but realized that the hotel was #1 in Trip Advisor (theme hotels). It was fantanstic, very relaxing. The crew was very helpfull at all times. The property is really nice, the pool and the gardens. We stayed in the Patio room, which is the smallest, but one enjoys a lot of privacy there since it is a bit offto the side. The size was really good, it was really confortable and we really had a fantastic, relaxing time there. I stayed at The Hacienda with my partner in September of 2011. We stayed in one of the largest suites, and it was truly luxurious. It had a beautiful kitchen, separate dining and living areas. Everything was beautifully designed and appointed. Duel shower heads were an added luxury! It's a small and cozy place with two pools, each pool surrounding by a handful of units. It never gets crowded there. The staff to guest ratio was impressive. Plenty of people there to cater to your needs. I will say, though, that there are many small men's resorts in the area that have the same quality pools, view of the mountains, and close access to points of interest, and just a little less luxury in the unit, for much less money. It was very nice, but next time, we'll probably head back to some of the less expensive places, because it just wasn't THAT much nicer. This was my 2nd stay at The Hacienda and I was keeping my fingers crossed it would be as nice as my first. Happily, it was better! First of all, Palm Springs is just a magical place to begin with. I live on the east coast so coming to Palm Springs is a true retreat. And staying at The Hacienda adds to the experience in all the best ways possible. I've stayed at other gay resorts in both Palm Springs and Ft Lauderdale. Nothing compares to the Hacienda. The Hacienda is the Four Seasons of gay resorts - it simply is the best, they get all the details right. . beautiful rooms: the rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, super comfortable beds, nice flat screen tvs, great kitchenettes - the rooms truly feel like a home away from home . the bathroom: incredibly spacious, amazing bath products and a shower you could stay in forever. Stayed here for two nights after 7 days of cycling and camping. it was the perfect balm for both body and soul. tasteful decor, very nice touches, relaxed and friendly yet professional and appropriate service. two nice pools, with plenty of amenities. great breakfast and lunch. My partner and I just returned from a 4 day stay at The Hacienda to celebrate our 11 year Anniversary and my Birthday. I cannot state strongly enough the attention to customer service and attention to detail that we received from the moment we entered the doors! This is Hospitality the way it is meant to be! It is only when you experience a business like this that you realize so many other hotels and business's in general are falling short with customer service! This was our tenth stay, and like all the past stays, it was perfect. It is so relaxing, beautiful, and peaceful here that you might find it hard to leave. Since breakfast and a nice sandwich and salad lunch selection are included in your stay, you really do not have to leave until dinner time. So we hardly do, and instead relax by the two pools. Each pool provides its own unique environment and view. It is a tough choice to make each day, but you will work it out. Inside, the well appointed rooms in earth tones colors are relaxing and comfortable and provide shelter if you find you must be indoors for a while. Over the years we have met some very nice people. In general the hotel attracts middle aged professional couples that are looking for some well needed down time. Most people keep to themselves, but friendly conversations occur and everyone seems to respect your need to socialize or not. The staff has become like old friends to us. I have found my perfect second home! When it comes to comfort, service, relaxation and beautiful surroundings combined with accommodations unmatched anywhere in the area, The Hacienda tops my list for all my future Palm Springs visits. You will not find, at any class of vaccation accomodation, a more attentive and guest focused group than the owners and staff of the Hacienda. As an example, upon my mid-afternoon arrival for a third visit, I was informed that they had ordered a lunch platter and beverage based on what I had customarily ordered when here last year. It is this level of client focused service that I have yet to find with such consistency when traveling for pleasure or business on a preferred first class basis. The grounds are green and the common areas spotless. The rooms are spacious, well appointed in an understated manner and complete with linnens, toiletries and pillows that one expects in a first class resort. The atmosphere is friendly ( I am always surprised by the international nature of the guests), discrete (clothing optional without it being an unwritten rule or in one's face) and a wonderful place to relax alone or with a friend. The Hacienda at Warm Sands was a wonderful place for our extended weekend in March. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The entire complex was clean and well appointed. We stayed in the deluxe suite #2 which opened out onto the front pool. Our accommodations were superb, the bed extremely comfortable, the living room spacious, the bathroom very clean and the full kitchen well stocked which came in handy when we cooked our dinners. The continental breakfast was a great start for the day and the lunch served poolside was perfect while working on our tan. That Saturday we had a wine and appetizer meet and greet with the owners and the other guests. It was nice opportunity to chat with everyone. The overall relaxing quiet atmosphere of The Hacienda was exactly what we were looking for. We found it amazing. A friend and I treated ourselves to this place, he had found it on the web. We were not disappointed and came away feeling like this would be our new "home away from home" in PS.
