These folks cover all the bases in proving a fantastic stay for their guests. From the spotless grounds to the immaculate rooms...the owner's/staff attention to detail is what makes this place the exception. There are two pools, a jacuzzi, comfortable longe chairs with cushions and then fitted terry cloth type towels for each chair. The breakfast consists of danish, muffins, bagels, cereals, individual oatmealackets, hard boiled eggs, fruit, coffee, juices and I may have missed a few more items. The plus is lunch is also included! You make your selection from a menu of sandwiches (roast beef, turkey, ham, tuna, veggie, all cheese, Italian vegetarian Italian or pastrami); salads (seven different choices) or wraps (chicken, turkey low-fat and veggie)...so it doesn't get any better than that. Various toiletries, bottled water and a snack basket with kcup coffees, popcorn, protein bars and apples are in the living room. There is a selection of magazines as well as USA Today, the LA Times and the local newspaper to choose from. Additionally, 3 huge shelves of movies can be signed out for viewing in your room. This was our second time staying at the Hacienda. This place never misses a beat for showing their guests a great time. The room was spectacular and the service was outstanding. Every little detail is covered. The grounds are beautiful with two pools and one hot tub and the rooms/suites are 5 star. We took advantage of the concierge service and had them do a little shopping for us prior to our stay. The staff makes everything so easy. This was both my first time in Palm Springs and at the Hacienda. I don't know how I can represent my experience except "superb" in every respect. The room included a large living room, a nice kitchen, fireplace and dining area, large and comfortable bedroom and amazing bathroom (the showers have to be seen). Plus - a lovely amenities basket was waiting for me (with coffee, water, snacks and tickets to the Palm Beach Museum). The rate included breakfast (buffet or served in your room, as you like) and a terrific lunch. There is almost nothing the staff won't do to cater to your every need. The other guests (mostly couples) were pleasant and interesting and sociable. From the first greeting until departure, my 4-day stay was letter-perfect. My partner and I have visited the Hacienda in Palm Springs several times and we love it! Rooms are expensive but this tranquil and comfortable resort is well worth the splurge. The nine or ten rooms are large, quiet, individually decorated, and filled with amenities. They are arranged around two courtyards, each with a pool, plus there is one spa. Grounds, pools, and rooms are meticulously maintained. Service and staff really could not be better. The continental breakfast, served in the common area between the two courtyards offers a wide variety of selections, and sandwiches offered at lunch are hearty and well prepared. Unfortunately Palm Springs isn't very walkable and the Hacienda and other resorts in the Warm Sands area are several blocks from the downtown bars and restaurants but with a car the location is great. We particularly love the Hacienda in the hot months for lazy afternoons in the shade and inviting pools at night. My partner and I have stayed at The Hacienda a few times now, the last time in July 2012, and our experiences have been consistently outstanding. The rooms are always clean and well appointed, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. The mood is generally laid back and quiet. It's a great place to get away to for a weekend or a longer, extended stay. We'll definitely be back. This was our 7th time at the Hacienda Resort. It is fantastic as always. This is one of the most consistent resorts in terms of what they offer their guests. From the time we arrived and warmly greeted by Steve to the time we left, there was nothing we could ask for or wanted that was not already available. The owners, Jim and Maurice visited ith us and asked how they can improve the Hacienda. Our reply was don't change a thing!!!. It's a class operation that needs no change. We were also pleased that friends we've made on previous trips returned the same time we did. It just proves we are not the only Hacienda lovers. We are already planning for another visit. We consider this home away from home, total relaxation. This was our fourth visit and it was just as wonderful as the last three. We can't say anything that hasn't been said already. This was our first visit but certainly not our last visit to Palm Springs. We opted for The Hacienda based on the Trip Advisor reviews. We had no expectations and certainly didn't expect to completely fall in love with both the city and the resort instantly. On entering the Hacienda through the gate there is a feeling of completely closing out the world and all its stress and strain. We were welcomed by Steve and instantly felt like we were at home. The resort is first class plus - way better than any resort we've stayed in, including Sitges and Key West. The value for money is excellent with breakfast and an amazing lunch included in the cost. The room had a full kitchen and with Ralph's grocery store a two minute drive, the option to never leave the Hacienda is very tempting. Our complimentary upgrade to a Delux Executive Suite was a luxurious home from home. All units are spacious with all the comforts of home with a few luxuries thrown in like bath products and a welcome pack. I must say, we are probably now considered to be regulars at "THE HACIENDA", but there is a reason that we are regulars, this place is a home away from home, the owners are extremely professional, and extremely friendly and always making sure you are happy as well as comfortable. The Management, simply the best, always there, always looking to help and always to make your visit to Palm Springs a Phenomenal Experience, Staying here is like staying at a 5 Star Hotel, the best of everything, the sheets, the towels, the pool towels, the concierge, the recommendations for dining, the wonderful continental breakfast, and the made to order lunch which is included in your daily rate. My 2nd summer in a row to stay. I didn't think it possible, but I found this stay a 6 star on a 5 star scale. The staff are skilled, friendly, & invisible. The Jr Suite had everything I could possibly want. The after hours check-in was easy and convienent. I am a single, executive guy who enjoys good conversation and being able to unplug. Both times I have over-packed. Next summer it is a toothbrush kit and a smile because they take care of the rest! My dear friend and I were searching for a gay resort to stay at in Palm Springs and we decided to try this place out. WOW! We were totally blown away!!! This place has it all: peace and quiet, friendly and welcoming staff, good food, good service, AMAZING rooms and grounds, and almost everything to make a luxury getaway all that more luxurious! There are only 10 villa-like rooms which makes this place that much more intimate. Although this is my first review of The Hacienda, I've stayed there 5 times and I am looking forward to many more visits. There has not been one disappointing moment in any of my stays. The staff, service, grounds, suites, etc. define perfection. The rates are pricey when compared to other options, but worth every cent. Located in the heart of Warm Sands, this quaint, classy, clothing option men’s resort is a fabulous destination to escape the big city life. The typical guests are couples/partners, close friends, and professional singles. The sexual temperature tends to be on the cold side, which allows you to read a book poolside, sun bathe, or nap without being subjected to public sex acts. There are no sex labyrinths, glory holes, dungeons, or steam rooms to cruise. But don’t let the lack of debauchery turn you away from this little gem. The neighboring resorts known for their play areas are just steps away, literally. Your stay includes a complimentary continental breakfast and lunch. Each room contains a personalized gift basket that includes bottled water, fruit, and assorted snacks. The staff members are cheerful, helpful, personable, and very attentive. The newly remodeled rooms are cleaned daily and are immaculate! It's difficult to write anything that has not already been said about the place, but we also had a wonderful stay at The Hacienda. Everything was above "top of the line" with our stay. We stayed here for four nights around the 4th of July and wish we could have stayed longer. Our room (Jr. Suite #8) was very large and extremely comfortable. The bed was excellent, the room was very quiet, and we slept through the night, every night. The bathroom was huge, and had a big open window out to a private patio, which let in a lot of light. A refrigerator, microwave, sink, glasses, dishes, and everything else you could want or need was included in the kitchen area. In addition, they included a personalized welcome basket with snacks that was waiting for us when we arrived. The grounds are immaculate with beautiful foliage that is extremely well maintained and landscaped. You will see some wildlife including a lot of hummingbirds on the property! My first two stays at The Hacienda occurred before current proprietors, Jim and Maurice, purchased the property. I was impressed enough by my first stay to book a second. But, Jim and Maurice improved and have continually enhanced the guest experience to the degree that I just completed my 14th stay at their resort. Jim and Maurice, and their dedicated staff, maintain a top-caliber experience that perfectly balances style and attentiveness with relaxation and comfort. Although the overall high quality of The Hacienda has remained the consistent over the decade-plus that I have been a repeat guest, each time I arrive I notice some enhancement or improvement. From the front gate to the pools, and the landscaping to the guest rooms, The Hacienda always appear fresh and immaculately maintained. The service never falters, and the inclusion of breakfast and lunch, mixed with the high space- and staff-ratio to number of guests make it the best dollar value in Palm Springs. Over the course of the years, I've occasion to visit friends staying in other area resorts. None comes close to delivering what the Hacienda does. I would like everyone to know that the Hacienda is truly a CLASS ACT. From the time we arrived on July 3 we were greated by Tom. He made sure we had everything that we needed and to let him know how he can make this visit even better. As we walked into our room I noticed that on the Kiing Bed were pillows with each of our names on them. What a very nice way to say thank your for staying with us again. They always provide a great light breakfast along with a wonderful lunch by the pool side. Ths gounds are always clean and wonderfully landscaped. The pools are blue as the sky and the water is just right. We watched the fireworks from the pool side and then relaxed for the night. 5 exclusive apartments sharing a pool- what more can I say- very special. Loved our 1 bedroom ( rm 7) I can only endorse the Tucson Bboftx review written before this one. highly recommended. Order the lunch and they will put in the fridge. Pls take the aerial tramway and walk to Mt San Jacinto in the Jeffrey pine , sugar pine and fir tree forest. Also walk the Ryan mountain trail in Joshua Tree (a must). I drove over from Tucson, Arizona at first and spent three wonderful nights at the Hacienda, just relaxing and enjoying the pampered, luxurious ambiance. Then, could not wait to go back again, a month later. The next time it was for four equally wonderful days and nights. I had one of the larger suites with separate dining, sitting, sleeping and bath areas. The small kitchen is perfect for me because I like to sit by the pool in the evening and eat a light meal rather than go out to a restaurant. At the Hacienda, that is a perfect match. Some places do not have in-suite refrigerator nor a small kitchen area for preparation of small meals, so they are off my radar. The housekeeping at Hacienda is perfect with attention to every detail. And the bath and body products by L'Occitane are a perfect high-end luxury additional touch. Breakfast variety is perfect and where else can you find a complementary lunch included?! It just doesn't get any better than the Hacienda at Warm Springs.
