I had a weekend to burn while working in LA last week, so I decided try The Hacienda once more for a relaxing weekend in Palm Springs. My last review was positive, but not without some fault. This time I booked the largest suite I could and ended up with Room 7 in the back of the property. This was much better than last time and the room was incredible. The service was wonderful and gracious, this time I got to meet the owners at the hosted wine reception, and I was absolutely relaxed and pampered the entire weekend. There wasn’t anything that wasn’t taken care of — and it was peaceful and quiet the entire time. I left early on a Monday morning (around 4am) and that evening, my breakfast for the next day was placed inside my refrigerator in the kitchen. A thoughtful touch. Also, while I was warned about an impending re-landscape of the property (beginning the morning of my departure), I didn’t frankly notice anything in need of repair. A flawless stay which was worth what I paid for.
