In Brief….
Pros – Luxurious grounds, two swimming pools, excellent breakfast and lunch included with the room price, large luxurious rooms, a stylish and elegant hotel.
Cons – We were not informed on check in that lunch was included, The hot tub was hot. L’Occitane products were not always replaced in the bathroom.
In detail….
I was fortunate enough to spend a week at The Hacienda in early March 2015, I had spent the first night at a hotel across the road “InnDulge” which had nice grounds and pool, but alas a poorly decorated room with a disabled bathroom that resembled a Starbucks public toilet!
The relief of walking (escaping!) into the Hacienda was the real start to our holiday, the Hacienda is close to perfection, calm, luxurious, comfortable and stylish. The hotel is also impeccably clean and had a high level of client focused service. If you are looking to relax in a hotel that is as comfortable as being in a home from home, then look nowhere else.
We stayed in a Deluxe Suite and it was beautiful and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the pillows likewise. Wooden shutters on all of the suite windows adds to the luxurious feeling that permeates the entire resort. The suite benefited from a lovely bathroom with L’Occitane products which were such a nice touch.
Thank you to all of the staff at the Hacienda for a really lovely hotel that enables the guest to be, truly on holiday.
