You get what you pay for… I would say Hacienda is not excellent, but at least very good value for money. I stayed here with my partner in september 2008 and we had a wonderful time at the Hacienda. Breakfast (continental) AND lunch (choice of salads/sandwiches…) was included for the both of us which saved us a lot of time. That is not unimportant while vacationing in a limited time frame!
The staff were very service-minded and friendly, helping us with reservations and looking up everything they could not help us with on the spot. Both the room and all the public areas such as the pools, lounge, etc. were very clean and comfortable.
The only bad thing I can think of regarding Hacienda is that it is a little too far outside downtown Palm Springs with all the action going on there. However it is a common problem with all the Warm Sands resorts and I really think they (the resorts in the area) should try to agree upon some kind of shuttle service going between these two areas.
