Many gay resorts can be disappointing – but not this one!
The welcome is great – and it just gets better. There are 2 groups of 5 rooms – each around a pool. Our room was amazing – we had number 9 (of 10) that was huge and came with a small outdoor patio (which, to be honest, we never used).
Importantly, each pool has 10 sun beds – so no need to worry about getting some sun (or shade). The breakfast is excellent – Continental style, but with chillers/thermos flasks to keep everything cold that should be cold (juices, yoghurts, milk etc), which is not always the case in many hotels.
Lunch is also included in the room rate – a choice of salads, sandwiches or wraps, which were plenty large enough and always freshly-made.
We did not bother with a car – but were easily able to walk to all local restaurants (averaging about 20 minutes) and the local shops (about 5 minutes).
The resort is kept immaculately clean – with friendly staff who are always willing to offer every assistance to make for a perfect stay.
It was also great to meet the 2 owners at a Friday evening drinks/nibbles “get-together”
Overall, we had a great 7 days – and didn’t really want to leave!
