As that old song goes, “The second time around/is so much better than the first time.” And after the first visit, I would have found it hard to believe that this resort (and an outstanding one at that) could have been better. But it so was. When I called to reserve the grand deluxe room in April for our return in August, Steve greeted me like and old friend and made sure that we would be getting one of the rooms in the rear of the property where we stayed last year. We were also bringing along a friend this year who had heard so much about our trip last year, he wanted to join us, staying in the junior suite near ours.

We arrived early Friday afternoon and were met by Robbie, who went out of his way to make sure that we had everything in the room that we wanted. And to our surprise–on the bed were pillows with our names embroidered on the coverlets!! What a great personal touch! The grounds and the pool were immaculately cared for and the lunches again were a wonderful asset as we did not have to leave the pool to go into town to eat. We were also celebrating a birthday while there and when the owners found out, they presented us with a bottle of wine. The owners, Jim and Maurice, hosted a get together by the pool on Saturday night as a thank you for the guests with food and non-alcoholic beverages for us to enjoy and were gracious and personable hosts who went out of their way to thank each and every guest for their patronage.

We left on Tuesday morning feeling rested and relaxed and vowed to return again to this wonderful resort. Steve, Robbie, Tom, and Paul make sure that you have everything you need and are unobtrusive in doing so. We will be back over and over.
